Every drive. Every moment. Protected.

A dashcam earns its place not in showroom photos but in the moments you can't predict — the cyclist who swerved, the truck that didn't indicate, the parking-lot dent you'd otherwise eat. VisionX 4K captures those moments at the level of detail that resolves disputes, not just records them.

On the Road

Records every detail of your commute and highway run — at 4K, the level of detail rivals security-camera footage. License plates remain readable from 2-3 cars further back.

Traffic & City

Indian city traffic is unpredictable. When the bike weaves in or the auto-rickshaw cuts a lane, you have crystal-clear evidence — not a he-said-she-said dispute at the next signal.

Parking Mode

Catches the parking-lot scrape that happens while you're inside the mall. Records on motion or impact when the car is off — at 4K, even the perpetrator's licence plate is readable (hardwire kit required).

Night Drives

F1.8 aperture and a 4K sensor optimised for low-light. Highway runs after sunset stay crisp and detail-resolving. The 4K's larger pixel count gives you more usable image in dim conditions, not less.

All Weather

Performs reliably through Indian monsoon, dust, and summer heat. The lens and sensor are calibrated for the conditions your car actually drives through.

Family Protection

Peace of mind for you and your loved ones. The footage exists so you don't have to argue, justify, or wonder. The car remembers, you don't have to.

How we built it

4K is the difference between seeing and recognising.

4K UHD front camera (3840×2160, 8MP)

4K UHD captures four times as many pixels as 2K and roughly four times more than 1080P FHD. In practical Indian-road terms, this means license plates are readable from 2-3 cars further back than 2K. Faces resolve clearly from further distances. And critically, if you ever need to crop into footage to see a specific detail — a sticker on a bike, a number on a uniform, a feature of someone's face — the 4K image still has usable detail after the crop. 2K would already be soft.

HD 6-glass lens at F1.8 aperture

Six precision-ground glass elements gather light onto the sensor with minimal distortion. The F1.8 aperture is unusually wide for the price point — most dashcams ship at F2.0 or F2.2, which lets in 40-50% less light. At night, in tunnels, or under monsoon clouds, that extra light is what keeps 4K footage usable rather than dark and grainy. The 6-element optical formula also resolves at the level of detail the 4K sensor can actually distinguish — there's no point pairing a high-resolution sensor with a soft lens, and we don't.

1080P FHD rear camera (deliberate, not a downgrade)

The rear camera records at 1080P FHD — not 4K. This is intentional. The rear view's job is to document what happened behind you (rear-end collisions, tailgaters, reversing incidents), which 1080P captures with plenty of detail. Pairing a 4K rear with a 4K front would double storage requirements and shorten loop-recording duration without adding meaningful value. Most dashcam buyers we asked confirmed: the front view is where 4K matters; the rear view is fine at 1080P.

Sleeker 1.5-inch LCD (less obstruction, not less function)

The 4K's screen is intentionally 1.5 inches — smaller than the 2K's 2.0-inch screen. This is a design choice: the smaller screen lets the unit have a lower profile on your windscreen, less obstructing the driver's view. Most users interact with the dashcam through the companion app over Wi-Fi anyway, so the physical screen is for status checks, basic playback, and on-device settings. The result: a sleeker form factor that disappears into the windscreen better than the 2K. Premium without showing off.

App control + Wi-Fi

Pair the VisionX 4K with the companion app over Wi-Fi for live preview, footage download, and settings management. Downloading 4K footage to your phone takes longer than 2K (larger files), typically 30-90 seconds per minute of footage depending on phone and signal strength — worth knowing when planning to share clips. Android and iOS supported.

2K vs 4K — choose your VisionX

Both are premium. Which fits your drive?

You're on the VisionX 4K page — the flagship. If you want license-plate-level detail from further distances, frequent highway recording, or the sleekest in-car form factor, this is the right call. If your driving is mostly short city commutes, the VisionX 2K saves ₹4,000 with plenty of resolution for everyday recording.

Frequently asked

Questions drivers ask.

What's the real difference between 4K and 2K dashcam footage?

Pixel count. 4K UHD (3840×2160) captures 4× as many pixels as 2K (2560×1440) and roughly 4× more than 1080P FHD. In practice this means license plates remain readable from 2-3 cars further back, faces resolve clearly from further distances, and you can crop and zoom into footage without losing detail.

Will the VisionX 4K work on my car?

Yes. The VisionX 4K is compatible with all cars and SUVs. It runs on 5V/1.5A power supplied via the included cigarette lighter cable, or via a hardwire kit (sold separately) for parking mode.

Is the rear camera also 4K?

No. The rear camera is 1080P FHD. This is deliberate — the rear camera primarily documents what happened behind you, so 1080P is sufficient and keeps storage and power requirements reasonable. The 4K resolution is reserved for the front camera where it matters most.

Why is the screen smaller than the 2K version?

The 4K's 1.5-inch LCD is a deliberate design choice for a sleeker, less obtrusive in-car presence. Most users interact with the dashcam primarily through the companion app over Wi-Fi anyway, so the physical screen is for status checks and basic playback. Smaller screen = smaller body = less obstruction on your windscreen.

What size memory card do I need?

Any microSD card up to 256GB, Class 10 or above rated for video. With 4K UHD recording, footage files are larger than 2K, so a 128GB or 256GB card is recommended to capture more hours of driving before loop-overwrite begins. Card not included.

How does Parking Mode work?

With a hardwire kit installed, the dashcam draws low-current standby power from your battery. The G-sensor wakes it on impact, the motion sensor wakes it on movement. Either trigger records a 30-60 second clip, locks it from being overwritten, and goes back to standby. The hardwire kit includes voltage cut-off to protect your car battery.

Can I view 4K footage on my phone?

Yes. The companion app over Wi-Fi handles live view, playback, and download of 4K footage. Note that downloading large 4K clips to your phone over Wi-Fi takes longer than 2K — typically 30-90 seconds per minute of footage depending on phone and signal strength.

How is night-time recording at 4K?

Excellent. The HD 6-glass lens at F1.8 aperture combined with the higher-resolution 4K sensor produces some of the cleanest night footage at this price point. Detail-resolution stays usable on unlit highways and during heavy monsoon. The 4K sensor's larger pixel count also helps in challenging low-light conditions where 2K would blur.

Is the 4K worth it over the 2K?

The ₹4,000 premium over the 2K buys you 4× more pixels on the front camera — meaningful if you frequently record long highway drives, want license-plate readability from further distances, or value the slightly sleeker form factor. If you primarily drive in cities and short commutes, the 2K's resolution is plenty and the larger 2.0-inch screen is more readable from the driver's seat.

What's the warranty?

1 year against manufacturing defects, covered by CarXNeo Solutions LLP. Reach out at support@carxneo.com to register a claim. Damage from physical impact, water ingress through misinstallation, or unauthorised modifications are not covered.
