Ultra-Tier Daily Driver

Ultra engineering. Daily price.

The Ultra 3C 3-inch sits at the cross-over point of the Black Phantom range: Ultra-tier engineering (110W, larger heat sink, more robust driver electronics) at the standard 3 Colour's ₹16,995 price. If you've decided you want 3-colour flexibility and you want the higher-power version, this is the variant — same 3.0" lens, IP67, warranty as everything else, just engineered to sustain 110W instead of 70W.

Daily Commute + Weekend Highway

110W gives you city-bright daily commute output AND meaningful highway reach when you head out on the weekend. 3-colour flexibility means you adapt to fog, rain, dust without thinking — toggle the switch, drive on.

Monsoon-Heavy Regions

Western Ghats, Northeast, coastal Karnataka, Kerala. Where monsoon visibility drops to under 100m for weeks at a time, the 3000K yellow mode is the highest-impact feature you'll buy. Cut through what cool-white lamps reflect back.

Cars, SUVs, Premium Sedans

The 3.0 inch housing fits factory fog lamp openings on cars from Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, Mahindra, Toyota, Kia, Skoda, VW, Audi, BMW. Premium installation looks factory-fitted rather than aftermarket.

How we built it

110W of LED. Three colours from one engine.

Tri-spectrum LED at Ultra-tier output

The tri-spectrum LED engine is the same architecture as the standard 3 Colour — three colour bands (6000K, 4300K, 3000K) addressable independently — but Ultra-tier driver electronics push it to 110W sustained. The colour switch cycles through the three modes instantly. The colour fidelity at each temperature is sharp (no muddy in-between mixed colour states), because each band has its own LED die rather than relying on a tinted lens to filter a single broad-spectrum source.

Ultra-tier larger heat sink

The 110W sustained output requires a larger heat sink than the standard 70W 3 Colour can use. The Ultra tier's heat sink is sized to dissipate 110W at rated junction temperatures even in 40°C summer ambient — meaning the LEDs run at their designed thermal point, which is the single biggest determinant of long-term brightness retention. Same military-grade metal as standard, just more of it.

3.0 inch Pro Vision lens with dual coating

The 3.0 inch lens uses precision-cut optical-grade material with anti-scratch and anti-corrosion coatings. The dual coating preserves clarity through 5+ years of road grit, bug impact, UV exposure, and monsoon road salt residue. Full aperture light transmission, minimal edge distortion. Crisp central hotspot, smooth perimeter spread — what the lens looks like is constant across the 3-inch Black Phantom range, regardless of what's behind it.

IP67 sealing, 0.1s instant start, CE · RoHS · ECE

IP67 sealing — dust-tight and waterproof to 1 metre submersion. The Ultra tier's additional internal complexity (larger heat sink, higher-rated driver) is engineered as one sealed unit. Driver electronics deliver 0.1s instant start in any colour mode, no warm-up delay between mode switches. CE, RoHS and ECE certifications — international safety and material standards consistent across the Black Phantom range.

Six variants. Pick your performance.

You're on the Ultra-tier 3 Colour 3-inch — the highest-power 3-colour variant without lasers. Step up to the flagship if you want lasers added; step sideways to the standard 3 Colour if you want lower draw for a smaller car; step down in size to the 2-inch Ultra if you have a tight mounting situation.

Installation

Professional installation strongly recommended.

Installation for the Ultra 3C 3-inch involves the standard fog lamp wiring (relay, high-current cable, switch, beam aim) plus the colour-toggle switch needs driver-reachable mounting on the dashboard or steering column. A qualified automotive electrician completes this in 2-3 hours.

At 110W per lamp, the Ultra 3C draws more current than the standard 3 Colour — use the supplied relay and don't substitute lighter wire from the parts bin. The wiring kit is sized for the Ultra-tier output.

Most CarXNeo authorised retailers offer installation service — ask before ordering. Wiring done right pays back across the 2-year warranty period; wiring done wrong voids it.

Frequently asked

Questions buyers ask.

What's the difference between the Ultra 3C 3-inch and the standard 3 Colour?

Same price (₹16,995), same lens (3.0 inch), same IP67, same warranty — but the Ultra delivers 110W per lamp vs. the standard's 70W. The extra 40W comes from the Ultra tier's larger heat sink and more robust LED driver electronics, which can sustain higher continuous output without thermal throttling. If you've decided on 3-colour flexibility and your driving leans toward all conditions including dense monsoon or extended highway runs, the Ultra is the stronger pick at the same price. The standard 3 Colour is the right choice if you want lower electrical draw on an older or smaller car.

What makes this the Ultra tier?

Ultra-tier Black Phantom variants share three engineering choices: larger military-grade metal heat sinks (sized for higher sustained output), more robust LED driver electronics (capable of higher continuous power and instant-mode-switching at higher duty cycles), and tighter manufacturing tolerances on the lens and housing assembly. The result: higher power output for the same colour-mode capability. The Ultra 3C 3-inch (BP-105) gives you the 3-colour flexibility of the standard 3 Colour, but at 110W instead of 70W — a meaningful step up in clear-night reach and dense-fog penetration.

When should I choose the 3-inch over the 2-inch Ultra?

The 3-inch Ultra (BP-105) is the right choice for most factory fog lamp openings on cars and SUVs — Maruti, Hyundai, Honda, Tata, Mahindra, Toyota, Kia, VW. The 2-inch Ultra (BP-106) is purpose-built for tighter mounting situations where the 3.0 inch housing won't fit — auxiliary bracket mounts, narrower bumper cutouts, or bike-style installations. If your factory opening fits a 3.0 inch lens, the 3-inch is the better choice (more light through a larger aperture, better thermal mass on the heat sink). If you're working with tight mounting constraints, the 2-inch fits where the 3-inch can't.

Will 110W cause electrical issues on my car?

110W per lamp (220W per pair) is comfortably within standard 12V automotive electrical capacity, though it's worth using the supplied relay-based wiring. The wiring kit routes the high-current draw directly from the battery through the relay and isolates it from your factory switch circuits. Your car's main wiring is unchanged. A qualified automotive electrician completes the install in about 2-3 hours.

Why does the spec sheet say "Professional Installation Recommended"?

Fog lamp installation involves cutting bumper panels (if not factory-prepared), routing high-current wiring through the firewall, fitting a relay correctly, properly aiming the beam, and wiring the colour-toggle switch within driver reach. A qualified automotive electrician completes this in 2-3 hours. Mistakes are costly — incorrect aim is illegal and dangerous, incorrect wiring can damage your ECU. Most CarXNeo authorised retailers offer installation.

When should I switch to 3000K yellow?

3000K yellow is for low-visibility weather: dense fog (especially Punjab winter fog, Western Ghats monsoon, Himalayan whiteouts), heavy rain, dust storms, snow. Water droplets and dust particles reflect cool white light back at you, creating a wall of glare. Yellow wavelengths pass through with less scattering — meaning you see the road instead of seeing your own reflected light. Switch to 3000K the moment visibility drops to under 100m, switch back to 6000K when conditions clear.

Does IP67 mean I can pressure wash the lamps?

IP67 means the housing is sealed against dust ingress and withstands temporary submersion in water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes. Normal rain, monsoon spray, car washes, and even occasional river-crossings are fine. Direct high-pressure jet washing on the lens or seal area is not recommended — it can force water past seals that are designed for static immersion, not pressurised spray.

Is the 2-year warranty real?

Yes. Two years against manufacturing defects, covered by CarXNeo Solutions LLP. The military-grade metal heat sink, IP67 sealing, and CE/RoHS/ECE certifications reflect engineering choices that justify the longer warranty. Email support@carxneo.com to register a claim. Exclusions: physical damage, water ingress from misinstallation, unauthorised modifications, damage from incorrect electrical install.

Should I step up to the Ultra 3C+2L flagship?

The Ultra 3C+2L (BP-104, ₹19,995) adds 2 high-beam lasers and steps power from 110W to 150W. The extra ₹3,000 buys you ~150m of additional projected reach on high beam. Worth it if: you do real long-distance highway at night, you ride an SUV or 4x4 that goes into remote areas, you want no compromise. Not worth it if: you primarily drive city and suburban, or your roads have streetlights and oncoming traffic that would force you onto low beam most of the time. This product (BP-105) gives you the 3-colour flexibility and 110W power without paying for laser reach you wouldn't use.
